New Delhi: Hyeglo Beauty, the brand building India’s skinified beauty category, has raised ₹7 crore in a seed funding round led by Sauce.
The round also saw participation from Giga Capital, led by Aarti Gill of OZiva Nutrition, Consumer Collective, Arjun Purkayastha, SVP & MD, Greater China & North Asia, Reckitt, and The Patient Capital.
Launched in April 2026, Hyeglo Beauty is now entering its scale phase, with plans to extend its portfolio across colour and care.
The company is focused on building the skinified beauty category by bringing together the functions of makeup and skincare.
Founder Kanupriya Ahluwalia brings nine years of experience in building beauty brands across India and the Middle East.
She has previously worked with Nykaa, Kay Beauty, Noon and Namshi.
Her experience across beauty businesses and retail markets informs Hyeglo Beauty’s focus on evolving consumer expectations and the growing convergence between skincare and makeup.
“Indian women have been asked to choose between makeup that performs and products that are actually good for their skin. We don’t think that trade-off should exist,” said Kanupriya Ahluwalia, Founder and CEO, Hyeglo Beauty.
“We started with makeup because that’s where the gap was widest, but our ambition is to define skinified beauty in India, from colour to care. This round lets us double down on R&D and take the category mainstream.”
The latest funding will support Hyeglo Beauty’s efforts across research and development, new product development, brand building and strategic hiring.
The company plans to use the capital to strengthen its product portfolio and team as it moves into its next phase of growth.
“The most valuable consumer brands create the category they go on to lead,” said Yash Dholakia, Partner, Sauce.
“Indian consumers have become remarkably sophisticated about skincare, and that expectation is now moving into everything they put on their face.
Hyeglo is building for that shift with genuine formulation depth, and Kanupriya’s experience scaling beauty brands across two markets makes her the right founder to shape this space. We’re delighted to back her early.”
For Hyeglo Beauty, the funding comes as the company expands beyond its initial makeup offering and builds its presence across colour and care.
The brand is positioning its products at the intersection of colour cosmetics and skincare, with formulations featuring active ingredients at efficacious dosages.
